1. Accurately complete the PreOp Workflow by documenting essential
patient information in the correct BLOCs and verifying they are complete.
2. Review and document Physician and Anesthesia Orders and
evaluate medication orders for safety before administration.
3. Differentiate prophylactic antibiotics from other medication orders and
accurately document their administration in the appropriate BLOC.
4. Explain how to complete and sign a surgical consent and differentiate the
processes for modifying signed versus unsigned consent forms.
